fancem is not dead

一直很喜歡聽R&B的音樂，雖然我偏愛靈魂女聲，但對於嗓音濃醇的黑人男聲也無法抵抗，Musiq、Jaheim、Kenny Lattimore、Avant等人的專輯我都必收，Joe也算是我很欣賞的歌手之一。


對他印象深刻是在Mariah Carey的《Rainbow》專輯，她找來Joe和當時人氣頗旺的98 Degrees一同合作全美冠軍曲〈Thank God I Found You〉，成為新世紀的結婚進行曲，後來仔細研究後才發現，原來Joe在美國也算是有頭有臉的歌手，代表歌曲不少。


我尤其鍾愛這首〈No One Else Comes Close〉，他97年專輯《All that I am》中的代表作。一定很多人會覺得很耳熟，因為這首歌常被拿來翻唱，國外歌手有Backstreet boys，國內則有杜德偉，不過我比較喜歡Joe原汁原味的版本。《My Name Is Joe》算是他排行成績最優異的一張專輯，靠著單曲〈I Wanna Know〉和〈Stutter〉紅遍全美，我也很愛專輯中他和N'sync合作的〈I Believe In You〉，合聲相當驚人。台灣代理發行的《My Name Is Joe》專輯還加收網誌這首〈No One Else Comes Close〉，真是超值。
